- Lead and participate in RFP processes, design and architect NoSQL database solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance to meet business requirements.
- Develop and implement methodologies to offer NoSQL database services on IaaS and PaaS models also to ensure the IaaS and PaaS offerings are scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
- Design, implement, and manage containerized NoSQL database environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop container orchestration strategies to improve scalability and manageability of NoSQL solutions.
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of NoSQL database systems, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Design, implement, and manage automation solutions for database deployment, management using tools like ansible & jenkins.
- Develop self-healing mechanisms to automatically detect and recover from database failures.
- Implement replication and sharding strategies to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of NoSQL databases.
- Conduct performance analysis and tuning of NoSQL database systems to maximize throughput, minimize latency, and improve overall system efficiency.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data stored in NoSQL databases, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection and business continuity in the event of failures or disasters.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of NoSQL database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide training and mentorship to team members as needed.
- Expertise in data modeling, replication, sharding, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery for NoSQL databases ( Mongo, Cassandra , Redis , Couchbase).
- Strong understanding of distributed database architectures, CAP theorem, and eventual consistency.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl for automation and scripting tasks.
- Expertise in Ansible and Jenkins for automation and CI/CD pipeline creation.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration 5 Certifications MongoDB Certified DBA Associate / DataStax Apache Cassandra / NoSQL University Certification is an added adavantage.
