JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SCRUM MASTER
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate and oversee our legal production processes at our immigration law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and be able to successfully manage cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of legal documents and services. Responsibilities include organizing sprints, conducting daily stand-ups, and refining processes to enhance efficiency. Timings: 4:30 pm - 1:30 am IST, Monday to Saturday (Alternate)
Salary: Upto 60,000 INR per month depending upon interview.
Experience: 5 years+ Required.

Objectives of this role
- Champion Agile principles and facilitate the team's understanding and adoption of Agile practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and foster an environment of self-organization.
- Ensure the team adheres to the Scrum framework and Agile best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Address and resolve conflicts while promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Measure and report team performance and progress.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in Agile tools and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
Your tasks
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- General conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
- IT and Legal background is a plus
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
