Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer/Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js development, along with proficiency in backend development, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AWS, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Node.js applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Lead the technical architecture and design discussions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and leadership.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.
- Implement and maintain integrations with third-party services and APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Node.js development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
- Deep understanding of backend development concepts and principles.
- Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
- Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and design patterns.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice To Have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Certification in AWS or relevant technologies.
