We are looking for Node JS with Webscraper experience
Responsibilities
Proficient in Node.js/Typescript:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web scraping scripts and solutions.
Experience with Web Scraping Tools and Techniques:
- A deep understanding of web scraping technologies and techniques, including XPath, to navigate and extract data from complex websites.
Knowledge of Networking Protocols:
- Familiarity with HTTP/S, RESTful APIs, and other web communication protocols.
Familiarity with MITM proxies:
- Experience using MITMProxy or similar tools for inspecting and analyzing mobile API requests, ensuring that data integration processes are smooth and efficient.
Rotating Proxies Management:
- Experience with the implementation and management of rotating proxies to optimize web scraping operations and maintain compliance with website terms of service.
- Good to have: API development and cybersecurity experience
- Data Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis and manipulation using databases and data processing frameworks.
Problem-solving Skills:
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to overcome the challenges associated with web data extraction. The web scraping and debugging side of the role is much more important than the Node.js/typescript experience, but the ideal candidate would be strong in both of these areas.
