Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai. This full-time, on-site role requires you to manage night shift operations, lead a team of workers, and ensure that production targets are met in line with quality standards. The Night Shift Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, handling shift scheduling, conducting performance evaluations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise night shift production operations, ensuring that daily production goals are met.
- Manage a team of workers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring efficient work processes.
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the shift.
- Conduct shift scheduling and manage attendance, ensuring proper staffing levels for efficient operation.
- Monitor the performance of employees and provide feedback through regular evaluations.
- Ensure product quality by closely monitoring production processes and conducting quality checks.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to address any production-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational challenges that arise during the night shift.
- Prepare shift reports to inform day shift management of performance, production output, and any incidents.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, particularly in managing night shift operations.
- Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Experience in managing teams and providing performance evaluations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with rubber manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Relevant certification or diploma in industrial management, manufacturing, or a related field is an advantage.
