Role Description

This portfolio will contribute the most important part to group brands. A wide and deep research will make the NPD effective. Best quality, best rate and in time production has to be the 1st priority of this profile. Launch of the product is equally important, which has to be taken care by all the departments and to take follow up with respective department is necessary for this profile. More the presence of the brand and more stronger the brand will be, this profile has to set the target to make tie-ups with the maximum platform where brand will have presence.

Responsibilities and duties:

1.To stay active on e-mails, and fulfill requirement.

2.To note down all daily and given task in diary (follow task mentioned in dairy to maintain accuracy in work)

3.To attend regular meeting with manager for new products development

4.To do research & analyse which products can be added in brand bucket

5.To decide the actives, packaging and product budget with manager

6.To plan the whole production cycle for new products

7.To executive and follow up the NPD cycle plan

8.To execute the research on other brand's quality, actives, promises, content, presentation & packaging. This process is to make our product better in all the terms.

9.To ensure the brand's packaging quality and to mention in purchase order

10.To fill the product master, confirming all the minute details regarding product's RM and PM.

11.To know and follow up practical dispatch date of NPDs and regular product's order.

12.To pass official information of new product's arrival to concern department so that they can plan their part of work.

13.To pass essential information to particular department, like a deep brief of product's actives and ingredients to content writer and SEO department (for keywords) then that content to share with creative team. At last, all infographics, A+ banner, content for listing, product master information & keywords to share with the listing team.

14.Follow up with concern department/individual to match the launch date.

15.To get dispatch details from factory and inform operation team & sales team for product's delivery.

Some important notes to remember:

1.Brand will not buy and maintain any packaging inventory, vendor/manufacturer will buy and manage

2.But brand will make sure the minute details of the packaging (mentioned in productmaster register)

3.Brand will follow the lead time given by the vendor; accordingly team has to raise the PO

4.For repeat products, PO should be given in prior as per the lead time given by thevendor

5.Every 15 days, meeting for the new requirements should be conducted for smooth flow

6.Certification like FDA,COA, MSDS and other test which we have claimed and paid for it should be re-covered from the vendor/manufacturer

7.To verify the PO rate and invoice rate, if not matching the immediate information should be passed to vendor/manufacturer, manager and accounts department

8.Formal email communication is only advisable with vendors, manufacturers, and other agencies

9.To maintain product mastery at accurate rate is important

10.To pass product information on mail to internal department for launch purpose

11.Any disputes and errors are to be solved on the highest priority

Approvals of manager on content and creatives is required

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct market research
  • Experience in product strategy and product management
  • Knowledge of the product development process
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in the skincare or cosmetics industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
