Job Purpose: Develop and ensure execution of an integrated multifunctional (Technical, Supply Chain, Financial, Commercial) project plan to deliver a New Product Introduction (NPI) project On Time and In Full, with balanced risks into the market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project management of a New Product Introduction (NPI) project on time and in full, with balanced risks into the market: as per project plan.
- Develop & ensures execution of an integrated project plan across the technical, supply chain, financial and commercial workstreams.
- The integrated project plan will deliver a high-level activity plan on the Commercial and Financial workstreams and a detailed plan on the Technical & Supply chain activities, with a focus on showing the interdependencies between all workstreams.
- The NPI Project manager tracks progress of project activities against the Critical Path Schedule and ensure that deliverables are on track.
- The NPI Project manager will develop mitigation & contingency plans with the workstream leaders where activities have a risk to go off-track.
- To highlight risks vs. the plan to the team members and escalate, if needed, to the project leader to resolve issues.
- Lead the readiness checklist prior to Gate reviews & flags risks in the project team meetings.
- Owns the technical base plan - for high complexity projects, specific inputs from technical workstream leaders will be required.
- To champion the NPI process (GIP 3.0) across the business, act as role model and coach and guide the multifunctional team to use the process effectively - applying Right Sizing principles.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the NPI process (GIP 3.0) and Project management in particular through the development of dedicated capabilities, ad hoc improvement projects and / or applying TPM methodology.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Project management/Critical path management/Agile methodology.
- S&OP/Phase in Phase out management/Capacity planning TPM methodology
- Recipe development and Beer/Water/Cider/Soft drinks making/packing production process knowledge.
- NPI KPI/PPI definition and drivers.
- Advanced knowledge of the Global Innovation Process (GIP3.0) and NPI Governance, Organization, Process and toolbox.
- High level understanding of Business case, Commercial plan, Volume modelling, Cost elements, NPV calculations and Capex and Opex drivers.
