New Product Development Manager

Qualifications:

1) Minimum 5 years of experience in New Product Development of printing and packaging company.

2) Sound technical knowledge of Rigid Boxes development, Mono Cartons, Metpet Cartons & Micro Fluted Cartons.

3) Sound Knowledge of printing, post press operations and rigid box operations.

4) Should have basic knowledge of using Microsoft Excel or google spreadsheet to prepare MIS, submit documentation etc.

5) Preference would be given to have printing and packaging education background like Btech/Diploma.

Job Description:

As a New Product Development Manager at AGPL, your main responsibility will be to submit all the developments (Rigid Boxes, Mono Cartons, Labels, User Manuals and other printed products) in pre-defined time with the 100% first time approval rate. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, prototype, and manufacture packaging products that meet or exceed customer expectations while aligning with the company's strategic goals within pre defined development time.

KRA:

1) Collaborate and coordinate with sales, marketing, design, production, and quality assurance teams to study the new developments received from both existing and new clients, prioritise them, make a plan to submit them on time with quality with all relevant documentation.

2) The role is to get the development cleared from designing stage, production stage, quality stage at pre defined times so that the development is submitted timely.

3) Coordinate prototyping and testing activities to validate product concepts and iterate designs based on feedback.

4) Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and technologies required for new product development.

5) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the product development lifecycle.

6) Ensure Customer Satisfaction of timely submission, first time ok samples

7) Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality and adherence to specifications through testing and quality control processes.
