New Product Development Engineer

The Ideal candidate reporting to Operations Head, Candidate should have expertise in bringing new hand tool products from concept to market. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in engineering principles, design, and project management, along with a passion for creating cutting- edge solutions.The Ideal candidate shall be in his early 40's and should have -

• Bachelor's degree Or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 5 - 7 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and product opportunities.
• Proficiency in CAD software ( Solid Works, Auto CAD etc.) for design and drafting.
• Conceptualize, design, and develop new hand tool products that meet industry standards, changes and customer expectations .
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and technologies.
• Oversee prototype testing, validation, and refinement to ensure product quality and safety.
