• Overview:

As an Assistant IT Networking Engineer, you will provide technical support and assistance to the IT networking team in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure within our organization.

• Key Responsibilities:

Network Setup and Configuration: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Ensure that network devices are properly configured and optimized for performance and security.

• Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to diagnose and resolve network issues, such as connectivity problems, latency issues, and configuration errors. Work with team members to troubleshoot complex network problems and implement solutions in a timely manner.

Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring network performance and availability using network monitoring tools. Identify and address potential issues proactively to minimize downtime and optimize network performance.

Security Management: Support the implementation and maintenance of network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. Monitor network traffic for security breaches and unauthorized activity, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures. Update documentation regularly to reflect changes in network infrastructure and configurations.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with IT team members and other stakeholders to support the implementation of new projects and initiatives. Provide technical expertise and assistance as needed to ensure successful project delivery.

Training and Development: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in networking. Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

• Previous experience in a technical support role or internship in IT networking is preferred.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).

• Familiarity with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks products.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.

• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Working Days:- Monday to Saturday

• Shift Timing:- 9:30AM-6:30PM
