Job Description:

Voice Network Engineer role provides second-level technical trouble support and the processing of alerts that could be the first sign of voice/telephony incidents. The analyst is expected to have a solid understanding of basic of telephony, voice infrastructure, network. The individual in this position will focus on Cisco DI cloud, voice trunk between NCR and non-NCR devices. This position will be responsible for front-line support for inbound/Outbound calls.

Responsibilities:

  • CUCM (Call manager) MACD's and troubleshooting
  • Good Troubleshooting skills on SIP
  • Inbound/Outbound Call flow Troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of Calling Search Spaces , Device pool, Partition, Route Pattern , RL , RG, Hunt Pilot, HL, LG.
  • Unity (Voicemail) MACD's and troubleshooting
  • Call Handler/Call Transfer/Alternate Extension
  • Greeting Recording/Holiday Schedules
  • Working Experience on Cisco Voice Routers Understanding of DSP / Media Resources

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Experience:
  • For Grade 10: Overall, 2-4 years of experience.
  • General Attributes: (Strong written, verbal, MS-Office Application skills)
  • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
  • Excellent Client Relations Skills
  • Good Mentoring Skills (technical and process)
  • Extremely flexible, ability to form outstanding working relationships
  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language to key project and management personnel.

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or engineering.

Work Conditions:

  • 24x5 & weekend On-call support or 24x7 as required.
