Networking Skills
- Minimum 8 years experience in the networking field broadly in telecom and service-provider industry with strong technical domain knowledge
- Well-rounded knowledge and experience in the IP/MPLS, optical-transport, optical-broadband.
- Good understanding of current telecom technology developments including SDWAN, SDN, NetConf/Yang & Telemetry.
- Hands-on knowledge of EMS/NMS/OSS systems including their functionalities, user value proposition and backend systems setup
- Strong background of working in network operations environment and participation in network upgrades, troubleshooting and new service roll-outs, is highly desirable
- Experience in handling technical interactions with network operations and planning user groups to understand network/ service-level issues and steer product/ solution enhancements
- Professional certification such as CCNA/CCNP is a plus
Software Skills
- Good understanding of working setup of telecom software systems/platforms (such as, NMS, EMS, OSS, BSS, CRM etc.) and their integrations
- Hands on experience of Linux platform/OS, Web-server, databases and knowledge about application software build environment will be a plus
- Having worked with software systems and application platform vendors is a plus
- Working understanding of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IT Systems (including servers, VM's and application platforms)
- Experience with ETOM framework and ITIL is desirable

Job Role
- Responsible for customer engagement for the existing and new projects based on Company's network software products and solutions portfolio
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities to enhance network solutions at the customer in terms of product extensions
- Coordination with teams at both customer site and back-end for any issue resolution including tracking progress, maintaining schedule and communication
- Work closely with the user groups to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations from our network products/solutions
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential new user groups at the customer premises to increase Company's presence and visibility
- Provide user demonstrations about the existing and new features
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends in network technologies, operations and automation and understand their potential impact on the product solutions
Education & Experience
- BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in CS/ IT/EXTC/EE from a reputed University
- M.B.A. or Management course certification is a strong plus
- Professional certification (advanced networking, cloud, security...) is desirable
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience
