Support Architecture and ensure implementation of the design of Global Level, LAN, WAN, Network Security, SDDC, SDN, Converged Fabric and all Data communication networks (routers, switches, firewalls etc) and ensures that these networks support AIL s business requirements at both a Local & Global Level.
Collaborate with network vendors and strategic partners and take responsibility for end to end operations of network solutions, managing network uptime for business applications.
Develop, design and implement a plan for the creation and ongoing enhancement of a Global Network and a strategy for meeting AIL s communications needs into the future.
Develop advanced network designs; recommend how network systems should evolve to maintain compatibility with industry standards; use input from network statistics to forecast network changes.
Evaluate emerging communication technologies which will achieve optimal benefit while mitigating technical and financial risk.
Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of regional, national and international networks for the Data Centers.
Provide consultancy, advice and assistance to the Regional Network Engineers in their use of networking products for domestic and international connectivity.
Produce technical documents for global publication that s used by regional engineers to implement network solutions.
