- 7-15 years Experience as a Senior Linux SDE
- For external candidates, systems administrator
- On-Call experience Not really required)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Automation experience
- Strong Scripting experience (prefer Bash or Shell and/or python)
- Strong config management experience (Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc)
- Ability to make strategic decisions and leadership in this area
- Experience assessing new environments and new challenges and reporting findings
- Experience managing large scale projects and environments
- Networking experience
- Strong communication skills
