Job Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the design and equipment (such as VeloCloud Edges, switches, access points, etc.) that constitutes the information infrastructure. Research and implement new technologies into the Data Network that will increase the productivity of the employee's. Resolve issues escalated from Tier-1 support and engage with/escalate to Store & Core Network support staff.
The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Establish performance baselines and thresholds for VeloCloud edges, switches, access points, and wireless clients.
Understand and identify bandwidth, reliability, and minimum latency requirements based off amount/type of supported devices.
Perform trend analysis and mitigate incidents using the following tools: SevOne, LogicMonitor, SumoLogic, VeloCloud Orchestrator, Mist and Cisco Wireless portals, ServiceNow.
Create and maintain technical diagrams of the LAN/WAN architecture.
Support, maintain, and manage Cisco and Mist wireless environments. Must have experience and understanding in wireless technologies.
Troubleshoot all issues using the OSI model and be able to document and show that each layer has been validated.
Design structure of additional file servers as we grow beyond the capacity that exists today.
Implement configuration changes to network hardware and identify when changes need visibility and approval before implementing. Must be able to identify what types of changes could impact service.
Maintain TCP/IP configurations throughout the LAN/WAN.
Track total incident resolutions via ticket queues and email escalations and relay this data to the Network manager before going off-shift.
Document all weekly tasks/requests and provide daily updates in Jira.
Create and Manage Network ACL through use of Next Generation Firewalls and Software Defined WAN technologies
Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends and technologies.
Research patches, updates, firmware and related sources for possible issues and perform updates as needed
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Basic Qualification
CCNA or equivalent certification
Must have experience supporting and working with: enterprise-level wireless networks, cisco switches, VoIP, monitoring platforms, working with vendors/on-site technicians.
Minimum 4 years experience managing a large and complex WAN utilizing multiple networking protocols.
Prefer experience administering or engineering a LAN with 375+ nodes including 1-2 years working with Cisco IOS.
Network technologies including but not limited to: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VXLAN
Firewall ACL's and IPSEC tunnel configuration and troubleshooting
Ability to prioritize rapidly shifting priorities and workloads, follow SOP's, project steps and procedures and create SOP documentation and suggest timeframes for completion of new projects.
