Network Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring its security and reliability, and implementing new technologies as needed. This is a full-time position based in India.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, working with other members of the IT team as needed
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies that can improve our network performance and efficiency
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed, including diagnosing and resolving network-related issues
• Document network configurations and changes, and maintain accurate network diagrams and inventory

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in network engineering or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and protocols, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and VPNs
• Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues using network analysis tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus
