- Job Description:
- Knowledge of security network devices (firewalls, switches, SIEM, Antivirus, cryptography, etc.) and other security networking hardware/software tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of information security concepts, standards, practices, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection, TCP/IP and related protocols, device monitoring and log management and event monitoring/reporting.
- Coordination with operations team & senior team members if case of critical incidents and major network outage.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and access control lists, firewalls, VPN, NAT and network traffic analysis.
- Knowledge of Network/Infrastructure Security technologies (Firewall, Access control, Intrusion detection, Intrusion prevention).
- Knowledge of Networking: OSI Layer 2 (Spanning tree, vPC, Ether Channel, VLAN, etc.), Layer 3 switching /routing (OSPF, BGP, IPv4/6), DNS/DHCP, network virtualization ( VRF), basics of higher layer protocols: SSL/TLS, HTTP
- Fundamentals of Routing, Switching & Network Security.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network & Security incidents, problems.
