Network Engineer L1

Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer L1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong background in networking technologies. The Network Engineer L1 will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure, as well as ensuring maximum uptime for all network systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
• Ensure maximum uptime for all network systems
• Collaborate with other IT teams to identify and resolve network issues
• Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches
• Monitor network performance and analyze network traffic to identify potential issues
• Document network configurations and update network diagrams as needed
• Basic experience in IT support

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in network engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software
• Experience with network monitoring tools, such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus
