Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

Configuration, deployment, testing, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of voice and data network components across an enterprise WAN

Design and implement data and voice network architecture in a secure and cost effective manner

Work closely with voice and data communications vendors to resolve network-related connectivity issues

Support the company's voice communications platforms

Work with peers to complete team projects while maintaining customer service

Planning and coordination of network changes for office moves/consolidations and new office openings

Planning and provisioning of voice and data communications infrastructure including routers, switches, voice gateways, cabling, circuits, and wireless technologies

Coordinate equipment and service installations with vendors, facilities managers, and IT Department

Communicate and escalate with appropriate personnel for maintenance and outages

Analyze information to proactively determine, recommend, and plan network enhancements to maintain efficient business operations across the Corporate network

Participate in after-hours on-call rotation

Manage projects, deadlines, and resources, as assigned to accomplish the functions listed above
