We are seeking an experienced
Data Center ACI Network Consulting Engineer (NCE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing Data Center infrastructure while demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, implement, and optimize Cisco Network & Data Center products and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer management teams regarding Data Center infrastructure and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-functional issues across networks, servers, virtualization, security, applications, and content delivery.
- Provide technical support during software/hardware upgrades and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Collaborate with TAC teams, third-party vendors, Cisco Sales, Professional Services, Development, and Engineering teams to address customer needs.
Must-Have Skills
- Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, BFD.
- Cisco ACI Expertise: Knowledge of ACI terminology and operations, including VXLAN, Tenant, BD creation, EPG, Subnet, Contract, L3 Out, L2 Out.
- Switching Technology: VLAN, Spanning-tree, VTP, ACL.
- Multicast Routing Protocols: PIM, IGMP, SPT.
- Hands-on Experience: Devices from Cisco, Huawei, and Arista.
- Nexus Family Knowledge: VPC, VDC, MEC, Orphan Port Management.
- Core Networking Concepts: TCP/IP, IPSec, PPP, HSRP, VRRP, redundancy protocols, IPSLA, and SNMP.
Good-to-Have Skills (Negotiable)
- Certifications: CCIE preferred; CCNP and Cisco SD-WAN are mandatory.
- Data Center Architectures: DC-DR, Active-Active DC.
- ACI Advanced Features: ACI Multipod, Multisite, and PBR.
- Additional Expertise: IP MPLS and HP Cloud integration (MPBN).
Technical Expertise Required
- Mandatory:
- Cisco Data Center Products: Nexus 9000, Nexus 3000, Nexus 7000/5000, Cisco ACI.
- Experience in legacy to ACI migrations.
- Planning and designing Data Center products such as NCS 540 and ASR 9K.
- Additional:
- Cisco ASR 9K (IOS XR), Cisco ASR 1K (IOS/IOS XE), and VXLAN expertise.
Educational Qualification
- Required: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Technology (B.Tech/M.Tech) or BE/BS.
