Network Engineer

Epergne is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining Cisco-based network infrastructure, Palo Alto firewall systems, and extensive knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and OCI. Experience with Megaport and Prisma VPN is highly desirable, along with expertise in implementing robust network security controls.

Responsibilities:

· Design, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls(Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint).

· Implement and support Palo Alto firewall solutions, including policy configuration and threat prevention.

· Configure and manage network security controls such as IDS/IPS, DLP, and web filtering.

· Manage cloud environments, including AWS and OCI, ensuring connectivity and implementing security best practices.

· Configure and troubleshoot Megaport services/NaaS to optimize network performance.

· Administer and support Prisma Access VPN solutions for secure remote access.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network security solutions.

· Monitor network performance and security posture; implement proactive measures to maintain high levels of security.

· Managing the SolarWinds

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related security incidents.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and security measures.

Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· 5-7 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.

· Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and OSI model.

· Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches (Cisco IOS/NX-OS), and firewalls (Palo Alto,ASA, Firepower).

· Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall administration (PAN-OS), including policy configuration, threat prevention, and VPN setup.

· Experience implementing network security controls such as IDS/IPS, DLP, and web filtering.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), including implementing security controls in cloud environments.

· Familiarity with Megaport servicesNaaS and Prisma Access .

· Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network and security issues promptly.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CISSP) are a plus.
