We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with expertise in ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), Nexus switches, and Data Center operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a focus on enhancing data center performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage ACI solutions to optimize data center operations and support application requirements.
- Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus switches, ensuring seamless connectivity and high availability across data center environments.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to maintain optimal system functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular network assessments and security audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Document network topologies, configurations, and procedures to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge transfer among team members.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in networking and data center technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in network engineering, specifically with ACI, Nexus, and data center technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP).
- Proven hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and Nexus switches.
- Familiarity with data centre design principles and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or specific ACI-related certifications) are desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
