We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Network Configuration Management Engineer to join our Network Engineering and Architecture team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of network systems and configuration management practices, along with a keen interest in developing their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the stability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Network Configuration Management: Assist in the implementation and management of network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topologies, and processes.
- Change Management: Follow established change management procedures to ensure network changes are planned, tested, and documented.
- Automation and Scripting: Support the development and implementation of automation scripts to streamline network configuration tasks and processes.
- Compliance: Ensure network configurations comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior network engineers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to support network-related projects and initiatives.
Required Skills And Experience
- Experience in the following areas are required:
- Basic understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of network configuration management tools
- Basic scripting skills are a plus.
Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Associates degree or equivalent desired
- Total 15+ years of experience.
- Certification in a major technology area preferred(CCNA or equivalent preferred)
