Vegah is looking to engage an experienced .NET Developer with strong DevOps skills on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will work on an exciting project involving server migration, maintenance, and future updates to an existing .NET-based system hosted within a Virtual Machine (VM). Vegah reserves the right to assign and engage the candidate as per the company's requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with server migration and ensure a seamless transition of the .NET application to the new VM environment.
- Provide ongoing server maintenance and support, including OS administration, web hosting setup, and backup/restore operations.
- Manage SSL certificate renewals and configurations to ensure secure communication.
- Investigate and resolve page loading issues, optimizing performance and enhancing the user experience.
- Collaborate on future projects to update and enhance the application's features and functionality.
- Work closely with the team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, MVC).
- Strong understanding of the .NET framework and ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with server migration, maintenance, and administration within virtual environments.
- Proficient in OS administration tasks (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) for hosted VMs.
- Experience with web hosting setup, configuration, and management for .NET applications.
- Familiarity with SSL certificate management and configurations.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
- Experience with backup and restore operations for databases and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in USA hours (EST/CST/PST).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Good English speaking and writing skills.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment is a plus.
