Overview
The .Net Architect plays a crucial role in our organization by leading the design and development of complex .NET applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability. This role is pivotal in defining the overall technology architecture and best practices for our .NET projects, driving innovation and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of .NET applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams on best practices and design patterns in .NET development.
- Define and enforce coding standards and development processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
- Conduct architectural reviews, identify potential risks and make recommendations for mitigating technical debt.
- Stay updated with the latest .NET technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of .NET applications with other systems and platforms.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing .NET applications for improved performance and user experience.
- Contribute to the documentation of architectural designs, technical specifications, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate and plan .NET projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to .NET applications and systems.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives related to .NET development processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and building complex .NET applications as a hands-on architect.
- Expertise in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance database solutions using SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, architectural styles, and design patterns in .NET.
- Experience in cloud computing platforms and services, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering .NET projects on time and within budget.
- Relevant certifications in .NET development and architecture will be an advantage.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the overall success of .NET projects and initiatives.
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs and systems with .NET applications is a plus.
