The Level II Technician will be performing calibrations, Non-destructive Tests and evaluation for acceptance or rejection of job
He is responsible to perform tests according to written instructions and should be able to record results accurately
Level II Technicians are qualified to set-up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results by applying particular codes, standards, and specifications
The Technicians should thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods being performed
Responsibilities:
Set-up and calibrate the Non-Destructive testing equipment.
Plan and develop techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, by adhering to safety regulations.
Perform tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using appropriate NDT
Applying test criteria in accordance with applicable codes, standards and specifications and evaluate the results.
Performing UT, RT, MPT & DPT on various jobs based on clients requirements.
Interpret radiographs, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
Prepare and organize tests results.
Coordinating with site supervisor and clients for any discrepancies.
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by the management.
