We are looking for Navigation Marine Executive to join our team in Mumbai with a chance for exposure to working with different teams across the globe.
Duties and responsibilities:
- As a Navigation Marine Executive, you will play a crucial role in leveraging advanced technologies to create and manage data that simplifies tasks for shipboard crews
- Your responsibilities will include generating, maintaining, and updating route analyses, as well as other navigation-related data essential for safe and efficient maritime operations
- In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data you produce meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. Your work will not only enhance the operational efficiency of individual vessels but also contribute to the development of innovative digital solutions that serve fleets around the globe
- You will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge tools and methodologies, staying at the forefront of industry advancements. Qualifications:
- Holder of a 2nd Mate (FG) License
- At least 18 months of experience post-2nd Mate Certificate of Competency (CoC)*
- Minimum of 3 years of sea time on merchant vessels (preferably in a worldwide operational area*
- Thorough knowledge of passage planning and ECDIS usage
- Comprehensive understanding of shipboard operations and marine-related environmental legislation
*Note: Good references, crew performance reports, and proven experience in a similar role can compensate for lacking sea time.
