Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated National Sales Head - Building Material to oversee and manage our sales operations across the country. This is a senior-level role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the building material industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales executives, and building strong relationships with key clients.
Roles and Responsibilities :-
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
- Manage the sales team, including hiring, training, motivating, and performance evaluation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and nurture long-term relationships with key clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improve sales performance
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, market conditions, and competitor activities to senior management
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to the executive team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Desired Candidate Profile :-
- Master / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 12-18 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building material industry
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achieving sales targets
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
- Willingness to travel extensively
