Job Description

Job Title: National Manager Corporate & Data Centre

Division/Company/Entity: ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions India Pvt Ltd.

Location: Mumbai

Department: Sales Specifications

Reports to: Specification Director - SAARC

Job Purpose

The position will oversee and drive the expansion of projects business in the Corporate & Data Centre segment across the country. The position will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering the revenue objectives of the assigned segment by the implementation of the business strategies. The position will also be responsible for supporting and overseeing the application and coordination of public and private sector tenders through sub-contractors or directly and building the specification business with Architects/ Chains/ Developers/ Consultants/ Contractors.

What you will be doing:

Manage and actively engage in Corporate & Data Centre segment by reaching out to the Project owners, builders, architects, Consultants, Project Management Consultants and Chains.

Build a strong pipeline with complete range of ASSA ABLOY products including mechanical, electromechanical, automatics, digital, glass, DAS etc.

  1. Coordinate with the Regional Sales Team to ensure the smooth transition of the project to sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery of the project.
  2. Build relationships with the end customers in Corporate & Data Centre segment with various National and International MNC such as Adani, Tata, Reliance, large finance and banking corporate etc., ensure timely follow up and review the projects pipeline.
  3. Address customers technical queries and requirements by facilitating communication with the Spec team.
  4. Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure that the product offering is aligned with the needs of the market and identify further opportunities for product development and innovation including vertical brochure.
  5. Provide required support and guidance to the Regional Sales team for management of large tenders of the public and private sector constructions right from the specification stage to the final closing stage.
  6. Focus on the conversion of quotations to Purchase Order and finally winning the project.
  7. Gather market intelligence and competition update.
  8. Input, maintain and analyze the project funnel in the CRM tool.

Actively promoting and be a subject expert in BIM and Green products.

Brand approval and inclusion of ASSA ABLOY brands in tender documents (ASSA ABLOY, Yale, ENOX, Union).

  1. Prepare and present various business reports such as Sales forecast for the segment on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis, as required.
  2. Work with the other internal teams such as Product Management, Marketing and Specifications, to engage customers by planning various events like lunch and learn, etc. and participating in trade fairs, etc.
  3. Coordinate with Regional Sales and Service teams to ensure timely installation; handle customer escalations and provide timely response to customer feedback.

Who you are:

  1. Engineering Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical stream, Architecture, or related discipline
  2. MBA in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
  3. Relevant experience of 10 12 years within similar industry.
  4. Strong customer focus
  5. Strong drive to deliver high growth.
  6. Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  7. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint with good analytical skills
  8. Ability to make effective conversations with project owners/architects/Project Management Consultants
  9. Functional understanding of Corporate & Data Centre segment business

Should be willing to Travel excessively in all territories
