About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to take on the role of National Head - Life Insurance for one of India's leading Insurance Brokers. This critical position involves strategizing, leading, and managing all facets of the Life Insurance business across the country. The role is instrumental in driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and a culture of innovation and customer focus.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the national strategy for the Life Insurance business, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate Life Insurance services with other business lines for holistic offerings.
Sales and Distribution
- Oversee and expand the distribution network, with a primary focus on agency channels and identifying opportunities for diversification.
- Set ambitious, measurable sales targets and ensure effective execution through regional and zonal teams.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with channel partners, intermediaries, and other key stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and evaluate business performance, ensuring alignment with operational and financial KPIs.
- Drive innovation in product offerings and service delivery to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and ethical standards.
Team Leadership
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across multiple regions.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
Customer Focus
Lead customer-first initiatives to enhance satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing large, geographically distributed teams.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operational execution.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Deep understanding of the Life Insurance market, including agency networks, distribution models, and regulatory frameworks
