Remote Nagios Admin
6-9 month contract

Essential Requirements
You will:
- Design, implement, and support monitoring tools in a complex, heterogeneous, multi-platform environment.
- Set up monitoring for server performance and availability in Nagios.
- Manage alerting and logs for systems, servers, storage, network, and databases.
- Resolve and communicate technical issues for customers and explore alternate designs.
- Complete service requests for stakeholders while demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements
- 3+ experience developing monitoring with Nagios core/XI or competitive tool such SolarWinds or Datadog.
- 3+ years of Linux Administration and/or equivalent Linux Administrator certification.
- Solid experience in Network protocols.
- System on-call experience, or capability to be on-call for some off hours availability.
- Expertise in troubleshooting server logs for Linux and Windows.
- Documentation and communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
- 3+ years experience with the ServiceNow ITOM Management Suite.
- Nagios Certified Professional Certificate
