The Role:

Looking for an experienced Dayforce Application Tool Payroll Team Lead who will oversee and manage payroll operations using the Dayforce application. This role requires expertise in Dayforce configuration, implementation, and optimization to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for Dayforce payroll administration, including configuration, setup, and maintenance of payroll parameters.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions using Dayforce.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to implement and enhance payroll processes and workflows in Dayforce.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to resolve payroll-related problems
  • Stay updated on Dayforce updates, releases, and best practices to optimize payroll operations and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports, analytics, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor team members on Dayforce functionality, payroll policies, and procedures.

Team support:

  • Plan proper allocation of work.
  • Support Team lead / Manager with Daily stats / reporting and OPEX MOS.
  • Enrich team members with a clear sense of direction and understanding of each other's responsibilities.
  • To be available on the floor through the day to resolve process related issues.
  • Participate in Team building activities.
  • Create effective QC and Audit mechanism within process to ensure delivery on SLA's.

Client support:

  • Update process metrics on daily basis and maintain MIS.
  • Support special process requirements to meet client requests/demands.
  • To continue strengthen work relationship with Onshore Teams.
  • Apply procedures to ensure accuracy of output and adopts continuous improvement approach.
  • Always demonstrate the highest level of customer service.
  • Pay close attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Goes beyond immediate requests and activities to ensure both own and related tasks are completed.
  • Participate in client conference calls and prepare minutes of meeting.

  • Adapt to changing environment and support of multiple clients (where needed).
  • Analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action.
  • Demonstrate maturity in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Must have the ability to take judgmental decisions in line with the requirement to directly influence customer satisfaction and expectations.
  • Mentoring skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in payroll administration using Dayforce application, with at least 6-8 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Dayforce Certified Pro, Certified Payroll Professional - CPP) preferred
