As the Music Teacher at Silver Oaks International School, Kommadi Campus, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive music program that aligns with the principles and objectives of the IB Primary Years Programme. You will engage students in exploring various aspects of music, fostering their creativity, cultural understanding, and appreciation for music as an art form.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Music Education, Music Pedagogy, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
- Teaching certification/license in music education.
- Proven experience as a music teacher, preferably in an IB PYP or inquiry-based learning environment.
- Strong musical proficiency and expertise in teaching various musical concepts, techniques, and styles.
- Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and its principles of inquiry-based learning, transdisciplinary education, and international-mindedness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
