Job Summary:
The Music Teacher will be responsible for providing comprehensive music education to students in grades K-

Key Responsibilities:
Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in music theory, history, and performance.
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a music curriculum that is aligned with school standards and educational goals, including vocal and instrumental music.
Student Engagement: Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and a love for music.
Assessment: Evaluate student performance and progress through regular assessments, providing feedback and support to help students achieve learning objectives.
Performance Preparation: Organize and conduct school concerts, recitals, and other performances, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents.
Classroom Management: Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
Professional Development: Stay current with developments in music education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Resource Management: Manage and maintain musical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring all resources are used effectively and safely.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
Certification: Teaching certification or licensure as required by the state or educational institution.
Experience: Previous teaching experience, particularly with primary-aged children, is preferred.
Musical Proficiency: Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and a strong understanding of music theory and history.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students
