- Music Instruction: Develop and deliver age-appropriate music lessons and activities that promote musical awareness, creativity, and basic music skills among preschool-aged children.
- Instrumental Exploration: Introduce children to various musical instruments, such as percussion instruments, xylophones, and simple hand-held instruments, encouraging hands-on exploration.
- Singing and Movement: Teach songs, nursery rhymes, and chants that involve singing, dancing, and movement to help children develop coordination, rhythm, and a love for music.
- Musical Storytelling: Use music to enhance storytelling and encourage children to express themselves through music and movement during storytime.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and stimulating music classroom that is safe and conducive to learning, with age-appropriate musical instruments and resources.
- A degree or certification in music education or early childhood education is preferred.
