Music Teacher

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Music Teacher with 1-4 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students of all ages and skill levels, and must have a strong understanding of Indian music theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
• Evaluate students progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Participate in school events and performances as required
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive and effective music program

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music or a related field
• 1-4 years of experience teaching music in a school or private setting
• Strong knowledge of Indian music theory and practice
• Proficient in playing one or more instruments such as tabla, sitar, harmonium, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching style
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with music software and technology is a plus
