Microsoft Project Online Technical Consultant
Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Techno-functional Consultant with a strong background in Microsoft Project Online, SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have both technical and functional expertise to guide and implement solutions tailored to our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Project Online Management:
- Configure, customize, and manage Project Online environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement project management solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity across Project Online instances.
- SharePoint Online Expertise:
- Design and develop SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and other SharePoint features.
- Implement security and permissions strategies for SharePoint Online.
- Power Platform Utilization:
- Design and develop solutions using PowerApps for custom business needs.
- Implement workflows and processes using Power Automate to streamline operations.
- Use Power BI to design and deliver insightful reports and dashboards.
- Training & Documentation:
- Develop user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
- Conduct user training sessions and workshops.
- Integration & Automation:
- Integrate Project Online with other Microsoft and third-party tools.
- Automate business processes using Power Automate and other automation tools.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft updates and best practices to suggest improvements and new features.
- Nice to Have: MS Dynamics Business Central Experience
- Familiarity with the core modules of Dynamics Business Central, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory Management.
- Experience in integrating Project Online and SharePoint Online with Dynamics Business Central using standard connectors or custom solutions.
- Knowledge of extending Business Central capabilities using AL code and Visual Studio Code.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Project Online, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale Project Online deployments.
- Proficient in SharePoint customization, including but not limited to workflows, forms, and branding.
- Experience with Power Platform and its integration with other Microsoft tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
