Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled MS SQL Developer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Hyderabad office. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in MS SQL development and a deep understanding of database architecture and optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage MS SQL databases to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support various applications.
- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to integrate databases seamlessly with applications.
- Perform database performance tuning, including indexing and query optimization, to enhance system performance.
- Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Conduct regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and data migrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database design, development processes, and maintenance procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in MS SQL Server and related technologies to incorporate best practices into the database infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as an MS SQL Developer.
- Proficient in T-SQL programming and advanced query optimization.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and tools.
- Proficiency in database backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
