Synergie is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, who would be responsible for organisation wide M&E of projects. Additionally the candidate needs to have proven expertise in managing/monitoring public health projects

The job responsibilities would include:

Develop and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks for ongoing and upcoming projects, including designing data collection tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and track KPIs/LFAs aligned with project goals and objectives.
Lead data collection, management, and analysis processes to track project progress and outcomes effectively.
Regularly conduct field visits to project sites to monitor activities, assess data quality, and provide guidance to project staff.
Analyze M&E data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
Prepare and present clear and concise M&E reports to internal teams, donors, and stakeholders, showcasing project achievements and challenges.
Coordinate with external partners, consultants, and donors to ensure alignment on M&E methodologies and reporting requirements.
Provide training and capacity building to project staff on M&E concepts, data collection techniques, and tools.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in M&E to continuously improve our monitoring and evaluation processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Proficiency in using M&E software/tools and data visualization platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in conducting training and capacity building.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

At least 6 years of professional experience as an M&E expert in a process driven, impact oriented organisation

. At least 3 years experience in monitoring Public Health Projects

Strong written and oral communication skills including development of analyses/presentations for varied project audience/stakeholders

Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English

Conversant with MS office and good powerpoint skills.
