Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Sol's ARC in Mumbai. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective and smooth functioning of program operations and monitoring and evaluation systems at Sol Arc including program monitoring and management, data management & analysis, and report writing to evaluate and improve projects deliverables. This role involves collaborating and liaising with internal stakeholders to create relevant solutions for several programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop M&E systems aligned with organizational goals.
• Generate timely and accurate information for decision-making.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation methods.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation plans, tools, training materials, reports, and summary forms.
• Synthesize monitoring data into effective presentations of results.
• Guide recommendations on performance improvement based on analysis.
• Create and manage research designs using quantitative or qualitative methodologies.
• Implement relevant sampling strategies for in-house research studies.

Qualification:

• Master's degree/Postgraduate in education, statistics, economics, or a related field.

Prior Experience:

• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in private or public sector organizations, including demonstrated success in research management and monitoring and evaluation of programs.

• Strong programmatic content writing skills
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks in fundraising or development contexts.
• Proficiency in data collection, management, analysis, and visualisation using relevant software tools.
