MONGODB DBA :
1. Experience in any nosql databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, CouchDB
or
New-SQL Distributed Databases such as cockroachdb, neodb, tidb, apache ignite, singlestore
or
In-Memory Databases such as Aerospike, Redis
Should have hands-on experience and should be able to recover data in case of failure
2. Good understanding of Client Layer, Clustering and Data Distribution Layer, Data Storage Layer, must have experience managing very large scale database
3. Install, configure, tune, manage, troubleshoot database issues, Design, implement, and maintain database backup, replication, and recovery strategies for databases
4. Performance tuning and benchmarking, Proactive Monitoring of databases using grafana and prometheus
5. Knowledge in Kubernetes, helm chart and git version control, expertise in managing databases on Kubernetes containers, experience on AWS services is an added advantage
6. Perform regular Audits on the database to maintain the standard security, maintain comprehensive documentation of database systems, configurations, and procedures.
7. Work with agile based SRE team in supporting database deployments and handle database alerts,Collaborate with development teams to assist in database design, schema changes, and query optimization.
8. Perform database capacity planning and scaling to accommodate growth and ensure high availability, perform database tuning and optimization to improve query performance and overall system efficiency
