When source financial data is found in a narrative, unstructured text format, it is required to extract and convert the relevant information found in it in a structured, accessible format. This process includes NLP (Natural Language Processing, a branch of Machine Learning) and sometimes manual effort by SME's.
In the exciting Content Amplify project we take ML to the next level by boosting the human-in-the-loop efforts such that our ML models and the human guides can learn from each other in an iterative process. This includes ML-Ops and innovative cloud technologies, which is incredible!
The project results ensure that the value delivered to our customer is growing over time in both scope and quality, and is available faster than ever.
Experience Required
- demonstrated ability as Python developer.
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Flask, Django).
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
- Great teammate.
- Good problem-solving skills.
BSs or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering
- Expertise in databases, SQL queries, and optimization techniques.
- Experience in AWS services.
Advantage
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
- Knowledge in at least one popular ML Python Library (like scikit-learn and pandas).
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Design and maintain database schema.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Science team to achieve common goals
Key Responsibilities
- Write effective and scalable code.
- Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance .
- Testing and debugging programs.
- Improve functionality of existing programs.
- Implements security and data protection solutions.
- Assess and prioritize features requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Maintain the system once it's in Production.
