ML/Data Science Mentor

On My Own Technology is an integrated Robotics Institute for children of all ages stimulating scientific and creative thinking in young minds through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education. The core purpose is to build a seamless synergy of mind which explores, experiments, builds, programs and runs ideas to aid innovation and automation. The aim is to simplify conceptual knowledge by providing an environment where there is practical learning, generating ideas and then executing them through research and implementation.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for an ML/Data Science Mentor. The ML/Data Science mentor will guide students on machine learning and data science concepts, best practices, and tools for various programs and educational sessions in the institute as well in Schools. They should bring innovative ideas, develop teaching resources, research, and work on customized projects with students. They will collaborate with other mentors to create a supportive and interactive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and data modelling
• Experience with data science programming languages and tools such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience in mentoring students, preferably in the field of data science and data analytics
• Ability to lead teams to deliver high-quality, structured and error-free code, and data analysis reports
• A strong passion for education and teaching with superior communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to individuals from a variety of backgrounds
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in teaching or leading courses in Data Science, Analytics, or Machine Learning is a plus
• Experience with Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing is a plus
