Mining Manager

Job Title: Mines Manager - Bauxite MineLocation: Dindori, Madhya Pradesh

Salary: INR 50,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mines Manager to oversee the operations of our Bauxite Mine. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in Bauxite Mines and must possess a 1st Class Mines Manager certificate. The Mines Manager will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient mining operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Operational Management:

• Oversee all mining operations to ensure they are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term mine plans and schedules.

2.Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure all mining activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Implement and monitor safety training programs for staff.

3.Staff Management:

• Manage and supervise a team of miners and other staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.

4.Production Management:

• Monitor production targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
• Optimize mining processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

5.Budget Management:

• Manage operational budgets and ensure costs are controlled.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on mining operations, production, and budgets.

6.Environmental Management:

• Ensure all mining operations comply with environmental regulations.
• Implement and monitor environmental management plans.

7.Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with government officials, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the company in community and industry forums.

Qualifications and Experience:

ؠEducational Qualification: Must possess a 1st Class Mines Manager Certificate.

ؠExperience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in managing Bauxite Mines.

ؠTechnical Skills:

Strong knowledge of mining operations, processes, and equipment.

Proficiency in mine planning software and other relevant tools.

ؠSoft Skills:

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

ؠAbility to work in a physically demanding and challenging environment.

ؠWillingness to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions.
