We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mining operations. This role requires someone with extensive experience in mining engineering, with a deep understanding of the mining industry and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective mining strategies and plans
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform risk assessments for mining projects
• Evaluate and recommend mining equipment and machinery
• Develop and manage budgets for mining projects
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Oversee drilling, blasting, and excavation activities
• Collaborate with other departments such as geology and metallurgy
• Provide technical support and guidance to mining staff
• Monitor production and make adjustments as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• 3-13 years of experience in the mining industry
• Experience in surface and underground mining operations
• Excellent knowledge of mining equipment and machinery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of mining regulations and environmental standards
• Proficient in mining software and tools
• Willingness to travel to mining sites as needed
