Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Visual Arts Teacher at Podar ORT International School, Worli located in Mumbai. The Visual Arts Teacher will be responsible for teaching visual arts to students, developing their artistic skills and knowledge, and guiding them in exploring various art forms and techniques. The teacher will also collaborate with other faculty members to plan and implement art projects and exhibitions, and assess student progress and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Previous experience as a Visual Arts Teacher or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of art history, art techniques, and different art forms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire creativity and passion for the arts in students
• Patience, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
• Proficiency in relevant art software and tools
• Understanding of child development and different learning styles
• Valid teaching certification or qualification
