About the Role:

Ovyo is currently seeking a Middleware Developer with a solid background with NodeJS and React using TypeScript and middleware. This is a great opportunity to add continue to increase the impact we add across a range of internal and external projects.

You will have a background in software development having used NodeJS, React using TypeScript, experience with Frameworks like Express and Axios as well as experience with AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the project and where needed contribute directly by writing code, managing builds and performing other hands-on tasks
• Design systems for scale and reuse
• Source code management
• Design solutions based on client needs that deliver the very best in business models and workflows
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing

Required Experience:

• 3 plus years of experience within software development and middleware development
• Experience with Node.js and React using Typescript
• Experience with frameworks Express, Axios, etc
• Experience with AWS stack, S3 buckets, Cloudfront, Lambdas, CLI, etc
• Experience with RedisDB
• Experience with metric tools like New relic and Kibana
