Primary Purpose
As a Microsoft Azure Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Azure-based infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Azure, strong network administration skills, and a focus on security and compliance (FISMA, SOC-2, ISO27001, FedRAMP). The ideal candidate will have experience managing international distributed networks, patching vulnerabilities, and possess proficiency in M365
Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure to support our organization's IT needs.
Optimize Azure services for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security measures in accordance with industry standards (FISMA, SOC-2, ISO27001, FedRAMP).
Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits and ensure compliance.
- Patching and Vulnerability Management:
Develop and execute patch management strategies for Azure resources.
Manage and mitigate vulnerabilities to enhance overall security.
- Network Administration:
Administer and optimize our international distributed network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Monitoring and KPIs:
Implement monitoring tools for Azure infrastructure to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Proactively address performance issues and optimize resource utilization.
- M365 Administration:
Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
Implement and enforce security measures within the M365 environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience as a Microsoft Azure Administrator.
Proven experience managing and optimizing international distributed networks.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure administration.
Proficiency in network administration with a focus on international distributed networks.
Experience with M365 administration.
Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as FISMA, SOC-2, ISO27001, and FedRAMP.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
