- Conduct microbiological tests and analyses on samples, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms.
- Prepare and maintain cultures of microorganisms, following standard laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Analyze and interpret test results, preparing detailed reports and documentation.
- Develop and validate new microbiological testing methods and procedures.
- Collaborate with other scientists and researchers to support ongoing projects and studies.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and used in accordance with protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in microbiology, including new research, techniques, and best practice
