Job Description
Develops and provides project and program related data assessment, management and reporting solutions to support project managers, teams and sponsors. Provides analytical support through all project phases, including planning, execution, release management and post-project evaluation. Works with project / program stakeholders to define project governance, process management and associated communication / informational structures.
Responsibilities
- Provides Metrics & Reporting services for assigned projects, programs or other organizational areas.
- Ensures local implementation of PMO governance, process, and performance monitoring and reporting efforts.
- Works with assigned partners to: Understand business objectives and priorities.
- Understand key challenges and issues.
- Understand data requirements.
- Prioritize tasks, and agree on data sources, research methods, and expected deliverables.
- Meet established timelines.
- Analyzes current and historical performance, performs variance analyses of key metrics, and identifies trends.
- Fulfills report/analysis requests by applying accepted metrics, methods, and tools to analyze identified data sets.
- Creates and distributes both routine and ad-hoc reports.
- Assists with development of procedures and communication / coaching materials to ensure adequate understanding of PMO standards, practices and policies.
- Gains familiarity with Project Management Office (PMO) Metrics & Reporting concepts, practices and methodologies.
- With guidance, performs specific analytical and related duties, including Analyzing project and related data, assessing trends and identifying and explaining variance from goals.
- Maintaining databases, cleansing, and validating data.
- Developing and tracking key performance metrics against project and related business objectives.
- Producing standard and periodic reports with minimal variance.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.
- Developing analyses and publishing well-developed and accessible interfaces.
- Learns accepted company and industry Metrics & Reporting methodologies, processes, and practices.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Graduation required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Metrics and Reporting.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
- Advanced Excel with VBA Macros
- Power BI
- SQL Scripting
